Aurora Borealis

Driving home in the dark to my Aunts is quite the adventure. Its easy, coz its one straight road that kinda like a freeway. Only bad thing is its pitch black except for my lolely little headlights. Every morning I drive into town I see at least 5 new roadkills and it freaks me out! To make matters worse, Ive been hearing horror stories of people hitting moose and deer all the time.

Last night, as I was driving home trying to pay attention to little glowing eyes on the side of the road, I notice this bright green streak all across the clear sky. The most beautiful thing too ever capture in my memory. The Northern Lights. I have seen these before but not in a few years, and because Im in the Prairies, I can see what feels like the whole sky from one end to the other. I maded it home and saw the peak of the color and them dancing. You hear about them, Ive tried to explain what I saw, you even see pictures, but not until you see them in their full glory does it take your breath away.

I think thats the best thing about being in the North. minus the cold.
