We found a place in Norwood. Its like a 2 story house and we get the bottom. Its very Londinish and in a different area. No roomates and a back yard!! (thank God) Were having a bit of a nightmare with deposits and money transfers so for now we are in limbo at Nicks moms house on the futon in the living room or at Terrys. (I know what I said about never staying at his Moms, but under the circumstances I have no choice!)
I just realized that I didnt have a backup plan if my job fell through. I now haveto resort to a retail job at £5/hr for now. This is really shit. I will also apply for temp office work. Hopefully my Stats Canada job will look good on my resume.
I think Ive just about adjusted to being a couple again. Although its still weird and Im not taking to being bossed around still. Hes been living with his younger sisters for too long and is back in the habit. The true test will be when we move in.

I'm so glad to hear all things are working out for you so far(even though it may be a bit of a slow process). I have really enjoyed reading your blog and find myself constantly checking for updates....it's a bit like a "Sex and the City" column. Can't wait to get there in January and hear all about it in person!
