I signed up with an agency on thursday. Very posh. I walk into the lobby and was made to stand in front of a camera with a video screen to take my picture before they let me upstairs. The interviewer was fantastic and took me to meet 'The team'. So we walk into the room with about 40 computer in rows with women typing away and my interviewer yells out my name and about 9 women jump up to come and meet me. Very professional. It was scary.
I suppose to go buy my 'first suit'. She says she has some jobs in mind for me already.
I met up with Nick and the affair couple. American girl. Very nice. We bonded over being from the same time zone. She says she'll teach me how to play tennis.
Good thing we didnt stay out to late or have to many drinks because the agency calls me at 9:45 the next morning with a job working for Burberry for a couple days. She asks me how fast I can be there by. I say 12, she says 'Can you be there any earlier?' Great. I make it by 11:15.
I worked with the 2 most snobbiest girls in Britian and 1 gay guy (my only friend as he agreed that the girls were also snobby). Everyone is so fashionable. We unpacked merchandise and logged it into the computer. I had today off and do another day tomorrow. Maybe Ill buy a suit on tuesday in case they have a job I might actually need it in.
So friday I met Nick again and we went for dinner with a couple from his work. It was like a weird couples weekend or something. Noone could agree on what to eat so we wandered through Covent Garden and Soho for about 2 1/2 hrs until we settled on Masala, an indian restaurant with a wait time of 1/2 hour. It all worked out in the end and we caught the last train home, packed like sardines.
Saturday night we went out in Wimbledon for P's bday, apparently Im privileged by being able to hang out with Nick 3 nights in a row. He got a slap for that one. I did get to see 'The Boys' tho which was kinda cool. We made the last tram home and had a nice sleep in for sunday morning.
Carvery today and a visit at the Fams house and Im completely exhausted.
I did manage to sell my old memory card on ebay for 20pounds tho. Its good to be back on ebay.

Hey Z: Totally reminds me of working for the school district, get called in the a.m. and get sent to who knows where a.s.a.p. And usually end up late cause they give you 20 mins to drive 1/2 hr. distance. Gives you a good idea of how flexible you are!!!!
Luv MUM
