Blue skies ahead?

Just an update on how the girls meetup went. It was fanastic. I was one of the first ones to arrive so there was only 4 of us and then more...and more girls started coming. I only actually spoke to maybe 10 out of 40 girls but the more the night went on and the drunker I got, the easier it was to chat.

A lot of What do you do, why are you here, how long have you been here for blah blah which got kinda repetitive after a while but I think after a few times going to these things I will actually find a couple girls that I click with and we can be friends. Best friends! Im quite excited about my new form of independence and have started looking forward to the rest of my time here.

Although speaking to my family on webcam makes me want to go back.

Seeing Kim with baby Samuel wants to make me stay. ( I know, Kim wears to much make-up)
I have 8 more days at this job and my agency has just informed me that she doesnt have any permament positions that would suit me so I either have to temp for a bit or get this job that Im being interviewed for and preparing now for it for friday. Eek!
We are also trying to convince the mortgage company that my Visa is legit. It is, but they want permament right to reside. Nick sent them an email this morning so we'll wait to hear back. If it goes through, we might be able to move in in the next 2 weeks. If they reject it, we'll lose the house. I aso dont think Des likes sleeping on his airbed in the living room anymore. Im starting to feel guilty.
