So naive

Ouch. friday night was one bad idea.

Me and Nick agreed to go home after work so we could leave early the next morning down to
Bournemouth but I asked around if anyone was up for a quick drink.

We went to this super nice place which was a ridiculous place to go with workmates! I really
just wanted a pub around the corner, stand around and have a drink. We all left there and me
Mike & Ryan all decided to get one last drink in a pub on the way to the station. Then all of a
sudden Ryan was insistent on going home. Much to be not wanting to be alone with a 45 yr old
single man even though I find him completely harmless and good company.

But silly me, Im to nice to tell him that I was gonna skip the drink and go home instead. So I
went with Mike, had a quick drink then he walked me not only to the station but to my platform.
Which I have done countless times by MYSELF with no problem at all.

If thats not weird enuf, I get off the train and he is waiting there for me!!!...and insisted on
walking me all the way home! Which is nice considering I live in a bit of a dodgy area so I
thought nothing of it and to be polite I even invited him in for a drink (Nick was home so I
knew it wouldnt be a big deal) but he was insistent on not coming in. From Nicks point of
view...it was kind of weird. In fact, ultra creepy.

Was I giving him the wrong messages or something??

Should I be more careful?

The weird thing was, he didnt say he was getting on my train and when he was on it, he never
came over to me or anything. He was just there when I got off.

Should I be worried? Im kinda freaked out. I feel all weird about it now back at work and now
hes noticed that Ive been kinda quiet.

Im gonna lay low for a while and stop being so friendly with the men in my office.

Am I naive or what?!

Well, it resulted in Nick being really mad at me the next day coz he was looking forward to a quiet night in with me and got a bottle of wine and everything. We made up but there was a few tears involved.

I hate fights.
