Getting Old

So Kim made it out for her girls night since Samuel has been born. Shes been looking forward to it for months and weeks before finalized the plan.

We were to meet at The Spagetti Tree in nowhere better but Sutton! My old stomping grounds. So I went out specially and bought a new top, black skinny jeans and sliver heels. As nice as I looked the heels were a really bad idea. I met Beth an hour earlier for a drink and then went to the restaurant.

Next we try to get into the club. Im the youngest one there at 28, the oldest is 41 and we get ID’d! 3 out of 7 of us have it so he lets us in.

Loud music, girls in hotpants and heels, expensive drinks and really sore feet.

Lets just say, I think were getting to old for this kinda thing.

To make matters worse, we all said it as well. After getting a stumbling Kim safely home and being dropped off by a mini-cab, I got charged a whopping £25 for my what should have been £15 at the most cabride!!!

And once again, I suffered all day Sunday for it. Why do I put myself through torture like this??

On another note, Ian, (my next desk neighbour) taped Cirque du Soleil’s Dralion for me off TV and it is amazing!!

End of project drinks last night, and office lunch out today and fought off another cold!

Ps A look at London Streets/Shops
