Week News

Holy, time flies! I cant believe it is almost May. The weather here is FINALLY warming up. Im so sick of cold rainy windy weather.


We could actually stand outside the pub and drink our beers, even if does involve inhaling clouds of smoke and car fumes since the no-smoking ban took place last year.


I also havent seen Nick in ages. All week.


He had football monday night, while I went swimming...did I tell you I started swimming twice a week now? I might cut it down to once a week and ride my bike around the park a couple times a week now that its warmer just so I dont get bored of it.

Tuesday night, he had 'more work drinks', why do they insist on making them on a weeknight? So annoying. So I went to a movie with Nadine In Bruges. They had one of those candy stalls with these giant candies so I only bought 5 hoping Nadine would eat some. She didnt. So I munched them all throughout the film. I stumbled home with the worst tummy ache. I even had to get off the train halfway home to find a non-existing washroom. No more candies!

Wednesday we had 'team bonding' drinks although I didnt really feel like we bonded with the new guys. But a new girl will be joining us on a Graduate Placement Scheme end of June. and shes super cool, so she came out for a couple as well. Everyone kindof left early so me and Nadine went to another movie! Geeks. We love it. Awake. I think we missed out on seeing 27 Dresses. We have a few movies lined up for the next month. hee hee.

Thursday, Nick went away to Norwich for a football tournament with work and spent the night (so I went swimming).

Friday, he had yet some more work drinks for the couple that are getting married in Cypress next week which I was invited to but not allowed to go coz the boys are making it a boys weekend! Oh well, me and Nadine might plan a girls weekend to Bordeaux (where shes from) in September.

So anyway, I went out with the boys from my work planning on meeting Nick until he told me it was kindof only work people (which I was fine with) coz Irish John stayed out for a few drinks with me and we wandered through Soho looking for fruit beer, it was buzzing as usual. So I called Becca to make her jealous and give her something to look forward to when she gets here next month.

I met Nick and we stumbled home picking up a chicken burger on the way and crashed in bed at midnight.

Today he is going to watch Chelsea football game. Its a gorgeous blue sky and whats that I hear? 20C? Thats right folks, its amazing.

Tonight, I am claiming him all to myself for some quality time.
