Homesey home

And were back!!! Totally jetlagged, wide awake and worrying about all the things we need to do.
In fact, so jetlagged that it is now 5:30am and Ive been up for 4 hours. Nick is actually trying to sleep. Whos he kidding?

The trip was fabulous. While in New Zealand, we drove around, completely relaxed, in the wide open spaces and the super chilled out lifestyle, wondering why we were living in a box house in London.
We even looked at properties to buy and have been inspired to actually start saving money in London and looking to motivate ourselves if we are able to not get sucked back into the whirlind of London.

Nicks brother Lee, and girlfriend, Gina were on good form. Ive changed my mind about her this time. She is actually quite nice. Maybe after a year in Canada we can consider moving to New Zealand for a bit. So many places to live and not enough time to live them in.

The wedding was beautiful. It was in a hall by a winery/orchard, bride looked gorgeous, I had a little to much to wine & champagne for the day and suffered sourley for it the next day...all day...and have sworn off alcohol since...just like last hangover. I guess riding in the back seat on the way to Aukland didnt help. Good thing I brought the plastic bag with me.

Tokyo was absolutely fabulous. We had a great time on the first time and even better time on the second spot. One day, I would love to travel through Japan, although maybe Ill take a little language course and hardly anyone spoke english. The Japanese are so kind and patient with you. The city is clean, interesting and every different area is not like the other.

It seems shocking when you see some of the Japanese with the masks on their mouth so they dont breathe the pollution, few of the have it but you still see it everywhere.
I also loved seeing the traditional dress that few wear.

Special occasions? We missed out on seeing some Sumo wrestlers, I guess our time was spent walking through different areas of the city trying to soak up as much of the culture as we could. It is so cool there!!!

Well, our time has come to a close and I regret to inform all that Hagar the Cat has once again escaped through a window that was left open. Goodbye Hagar. I cannot be bothered to find you again. He had a good life. If its meant to be, he will come back to us, in the meantime...I dont have time to look again if he wants outside so bad. Good thing its summer.

Also the stress of getting Beth to send my ebay items and then recieving messages from all my ebay members wondering where they items are!!! Grrrr, I guess it was to much of a responsiblity for her!
Our house is disgusting, only because we stayed in amazing house in New Zealand. We need to get on that and look for a nice house to buy I suppose. All the typical stresses of being back home after an amazing vacation...I guess it can be expected.
Oh well, off to Canada in 2 weeks!!!

PS Oh yeah, as promised, heres my ridiculous sunburn...ouch, but it left a nice tan!

I would also love to come to London and visit queen Zoe, but that will have to wait. Sooner than later I hope, it'll happen. Peace in
