Man, time flies.Me and Nick went on a date on friday. We both got off work early so met and went to Notting Hill to the market. We ended up in Kensington and went to the Natural History Museum which was great coz Ive never actually seen dinosaur bones. Even Nick liked the Simulator dinosaur.
Then we went for a burger and had a nice bottle of wine with it and then to Clapham for drinks...By ourselves. This was quality time.
Saturday, me, Nick, Des & Christine went to Orchestra in the park with chairs, umbrellas, 3 bottles of wine, beers for the boys and 2 pitchers of Pims. Music was great, downpoured with rain during the ABBA tribute band. Needless to say we were all drunk, stumbling around giggling, like kids even jumping around buses till we all figured what home we were all going to since Des & Christine are living separately now hence the reason why we get to stay in Des' flat for a couple weeks.
I think it brought back the early days for them. We'll see how long it lasts for.
All in all it was a good weekend and Ive taken the advice from Becca and am going to take some type of class...Im looking into it. Maybe photography? Mainly just to meet people since I can count all my friends that I have here on one hand. And she promises to come here end of this year on a work visa which sounds fantastic :)
On the downside. We may not, in the end, be granted our mortgage to get our house. Its my Visa that might be at fault. We didnt really have a backup plan. I guess we would just haveto go for a 2 bed flat. Its the garden Ill miss. Fingers crossed but hopes not up to high.
