Okay, so much has happened.
I turned down the other job.
This one is going quite well. A bit of a longer journey but Ill get used to it. Quite excitng but a bit boring being in an office environment. Lots of men here. A few women. But everyones seems really nice.
The girl who is training me is a complete loon. And that is a way of 'putting it lightly' in my boss' own words!! I went out for drinks with my coworkers (without the girl whos training me) and everyone was feeling sorry for me that I had to spend 3 weeks with her. My boss pulled me aside to ask me 'how I was finding her' and we both just started laughing!!
That tells you something. Im getting pity looks around the office.
I dont really feel like Ive learned things my way...just hers. There seems to be so much to take in and Im completely exhausted from it all. Never mind going out during the weekends and nights.
But Bekah is in town at the moment but heading off for Venice today. sniff.
Big BirthDay tomorrow but not really sure of what I want to do. Maybe just R&R would be nice. Saturday will be the big party day.
House should be ready pretty quick. Cannot wait to move in!!! We even had a snoop around and we still love it. And...we have neighbours that are our age and have invited us to their housewarming...'cept it lands on my bday so we might stop by with a plant or something.
V Fest next weekend.
Nicks family is gone for 1 whole month to New Zealand. Which will be quiet...in all the best ways possible of course:¬)
Im off to learn some more!!
